Just in time for the next series of pirate movies, Dead Men Tell No Tales features an all-to-familiar looking pirate that decays into a spooky skeletal swashbuckler. This salty dog not only has a sunken ship but sunken chest, eyes and cheeks as well. This portrait is especially disturbing after you've had far too much Jamaican rum. Then again, isn't everything?

Ghoulish Factoid: While most of our photos are from the Victorian era, this gentleman was a modern day attendee of the Transworld Halloween Convention in Chicago – he was preparing to enter their annual costume party. With his permission, we took a few photos. We later sent him a complimentary portrait that reportedly shivered his timbers. Hopefully that’s a good thing.
