Tim
Turner, owner of The Ghoulish Gallery, is an accomplished and respected
artist with over 24 years experience in film. He has worked for some of
the most creative talent in the entertainment industry, including Walt Disney
Imagineering, Emmy nominated special effect artist, Michael Burnett, and
five-time Academy Award winning make-up effects artist, Rick Baker. His
film history includes contributions to such popular movies as Cocoon (1985),
Harry and the Hendersons (1987), Gorillas in the Mist (1987), Honey I Shrunk
The Kids (1989), The Addams Family (1991), and the cult classic Army of
Darkness (1993), to name but a few.
Tim is also an avid haunter. His first haunt experience was with the now famous Campus Life Haunted Houses of the late 1970’s. He has since contributed his creative talents to a wide variety of notable haunted ventures, including Calico Ghost Town, Universal Studios, and the world famous Knott’s Berry Farm Halloween Haunt. These days, however, you’ll more than likely find him in his studio, at his full time job creating some delightfully new creepy characters for The Ghoulish Gallery. |

While Tim oversees the creative
aspects of the business, April Turner, his lovely wife, takes care of the
business end of things. April holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration–Information
Systems from USC, and has worked for some of the most respected accounting
institutions in the world, including Coopers & Lybrand. Obviously she’s
way over qualified for the job but she does it anyway or else she’ll
never see her husband. While April doesn’t completely understand Tim’s
passion for all these weird spooky things, she loves seeing that twinkle
in his eye when he’s doing that voodoo that he does so well.
When April’s not doing her part-time “ghoulish’
work, she serves full time as the manager of revenue processing for a
large software company based in southern California. And when she’s
not doing that, you can almost always find her in the company of her standard-sized
poodle, Taupo. |

Stalker

Brandon Champlin is the
webmaster and creative consultant for The Ghoulish Gallery. Brandon and
Tim first became acquainted after Brandon contacted Tim about his work in
the film industry several years ago. As they talked, Tim quickly learned
that Brandon was not your typical 16-year-old kid. Far from being a stalker
(thankfully) Brandon was a published author, inventor, and quite possibly
one of the world’s leading authorities on just about anything having
to do with Disney's Haunted Mansion attractions. A friendship was born then
and there, and they have been close friend ever since. In fact Tim and April
hosted Brandon’s very first trip to California where he was finally
able to fulfill a dream and visit Disneyland.
Brandon, now 20, is currently enrolled in college
and is working towards a major in fine arts. Eventually, he plans to design
a few of his own ghoulish creations for the company. In the mean time,
Brandon stays busy working on our website and continues to pursue his
personal quest to learn virtually everything one person could possibly
know about The Haunted Mansion. Kind of creepy, don’t you think?
